Processing a Roof Ice Melt Project New Construction
Bylin's RIM Systems are applied to the building’s
roof eaves, valleys and other areas. Roofers, gutter installers
or electricians install the RIM panels and gutter heating cables. An
electrician installs the junction boxes, electrical wiring and control
panels.
Architect / Bylin
- Define roof areas requiring RIM panels, heated gutters
and downspouts.
Bylin Supplies
- RIM layout designs with junction box locations
- Electrical circuit designs
- RIM equipment, gutter drain and downspout heating cable
and control panels with load center, circuit protection
and energy efficient controls.

installation with circuit Megger tests.
Retrofit Existing Buildings and Houses
Existing buildings
and houses not designed with roof eave protection from icicles
and ice dams often experience snow melt water damage to the
interior (ceiling, wall, and mold issues) and experience exterior
problems (icicle hazards, gutter damage and shingle damage
issues).
