Description
Our
heating cables consist of a high-tensile-strength alloy heater
element wrapped with 4 mil Kapton®, and then encased
in silicone rubber rated at 300°F. A ground braid, equivalent
to 16 AWG, is woven over the silicone insulation. Another
layer of silicone rubber is extruded over the ground braid
to provide mechanical protection. The heating cable power
output ranges from 8 to 15 Watts/ft2 depending on cable spacing.
Each end of the heating cable is factory spliced to a 10-foot
power lead wire with a ground braid and overjacket. The lead
wires are then connected to the electronic controller for
energy efficient operation.
Applications
The WarmGlo system is specifically designed to provide floor
warming for tile, marble, slate and other stone surfaces in
bathrooms, kitchens and entryways.
